Friday night I went out with some friends to celebrate Kelli's birthday. After P.F. Changs and Cheesecake factory, and most of the girls gone, there were a few of us left with nothing to do. So what else do married women with kids sleeping snuggly in their beds do on a friday night? Go T.Ping the ones we love! We got our volleyball coches house and the primary presidents house! We were laughing histerically in front of both houses, flashing pictures. If someone had gone by, but why would they at 2am, they would have called the cops!

We went to the lake on Saturday with my friend Kelli and Tiffany. Kelli's dad has a boat and in- laws have a jet ski! We had such a fun time tubing and skiing and playing in the water. I have a scab on my elbow from trying to stay on the tube while Steve (Kelli's husband) whipped us around. It was the highlight of our fall! :}

I haven't blogged in so long I didn't even remember where I had a blog!! How funny is that! I think I started a different one but I'll have to ask Lizzy B where it is. The kids have been taking private swimming lessons for a couple weeks now and when they're done the instructor shows me some stuff. So I learned the butterfly! It was very very very hard, but I finally got it down, or almost. After watching my video I can see what I need to improve on. We have had a great summer swimming in pools, the ocean, in our back yard, jumping on the trampoline, having our house filled with millions of kids running around! The kids say this is the house to be. I am sad to see the summer end, but excited to see what this next year brings. Lizzy is starting Kindergarten, she is AM thank goodness. I didn't want to drag her to volleyball, then onto the bus. JC is working late as usual, the three older kids are at a "late night" at a friends house, and Carter is sound asleep. It is wonderful to have a quiet house! I really need to work on my talk for church this sunday though. So I better get to it! Luvs!

I am so sore and tired today! I ran a mile before practice, then did 1 1/2 hours of drills then 30 min of games. Wow! When I got home I made a bologna,cheese and Doritos sandwich. It tasted sooooooooo good! Then I washed it down with milk and cookies!
I am so happy to be back in the game, I don't know how I lived without it for those 2 months. Today I was at the net almost ready to block but didn't for some reason, and a girl yelled, get up there and use that 48 inch vertical you got! All the high jumping helped! I get nervous every single time I block though, but I keep doing it. Coach doesn't cringe anymore.

We went from 100 degree weather down to the 60's. But I knew it was going to do that. Each year in April it's cold them jumps up and we slip N slide or get in the pool, then it goes back down. I don't mind, I'm not ready for the heat yet.

It was another HOT day today, my car said 101 degrees! I pulled out our little pool and let the kids play, they were dying while I blew it up. When I told them they could have as many otter pops as they wanted they were thrilled! Thank goodness for Costco.
I think tonight we'll have left overs and sandwiches. I can't get myself to use the stove or oven.
I need to get some screens in the windows so we can open them and not have all the flies come in. It's really annoying that we got the windows to open (thanks to Amy) but don't want them open due to the flies and spiders! I just killed a black widow in the back yard and found another one, but I told JC he has to get this one.

It was soooo hot yesterday! Oh my! So hot that we let the kids run through the sprinkler to cool off. I need to get a temperature gauge for out in the back, but weather.com said it got up to 88. Our backyard is usually a bit hotter though. And they said a high of 89 for today. I can't wait to go to the beach/ocean. Love it!!
Carter has gotten really good at his bike on our hill. It's hard to ride on our sidewalk because it's broken up in places and lots of cracks. So he would fall or get stuck. But now he can go down the hill and come back up all by himself! I have enterered the next stage of childhood! I can just sit outside and watch them ride! I used to walk up and down over and over with him till I was exhausted from leaning over his bike. Now that's all behind me. Yeah!!
